My boyfriend of 8 years just asked me to marry him. I know what you're thinking, "EIGHT YEARS? WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM?!?" Well nothing is wrong with him. We're just in a place in our lives where getting married isn't so scary anymore. I'm finished with school. We both have awesome jobs. We're grown up and ready to face the next step in our relationship. And really, we've already passed the 7-year itch phase. The next 75 years should be a piece of cake.
