CHRISTA / International Performer and Recording Artist, is musically trained in Europe. Originally from Vienna, Austria then a graduate at the Music-Aestetic University of Denmark, with a major in Mass Communication. Studied Classical Guitar / Vox at the Music Conservatory in Denmark. Fluent in three languages, she later honed her chops on Lead Guitar at the world famous Musicians Institute, GIT in Hollywood, California, USA. She has contributed her Guitar and Vocal talents to a diversity of bands and music projects through the years and also starred as a Photo / Runway Fashion Model and in Arts and Film.

"OATWAY LIVE" is a sonic treat that features Christa Oatway in one of her most compelling performances to date. The CD, released in 2005, is also a tribute to her former collaborations including a touching rendition of "Brand New World" featuring The ABCDE Family.
But it is her outstanding Vocals and Guitar work, brooding and gorgeous, that is the stand-out element of the project.
Wether it is her sultry Voice or the lightening sounds of her Guitar leads, this rock and roll chick makes her musical message loud and clear.
Just listen to the artistry on "Dream On" or take a Wild Ride on the name sake tune. Oatway amply shows her stuff.
Christa Oatway's Guitar work is strong and her playing smoothly supplements the Vocals.
The play on words "OATWAY LIVE" and the rest of the title of the CD "A WAY TO LIVE" best sums up the philosophical approach taken by Oatway to create a package of tunes that compels the listener to take a viewpoint.
"I live these songs", she says in explaining the passion that can be musically felt by each and every tune.
That explains why the project culminates in a hopeful message of living in a "Brand New World".
