The Vision of Christ City

Transforming lives for Christ one city at a time through Christ City Music Festival, reaching out to every city of the world.

Our Purpose

To utilize the human, spiritual and financial resources of Christ City™ to communicate and propagate The Gospel of Jesus Christ by any and every means to any and every possible place in the world.

This purpose is derived from “The Great Commission” as proclaimed by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20, where He said "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." NASV

Yes it's a "broad' purpose statement as some have said- but it's what we believe the Lord has called us to do- "The Great Commission."

The Core

1. THE WORD AND THE RELATIONSHIP We believe that the WORD of God is eternal, divine, living, transforming; and that a RELATIONSHIP with the JESUS is the only true way for people to truly be healed from their addictions, abuse, hurt, fear, violence, spiritual wars, and be set apart, set free to know truth, purpose, progress, love and forgiveness of sin in their lives.

2. JUST CALL ME WHEN U NEED A FRIEND We believe that prayer is one of the most powerful tools that God has given us. Call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ- He's your true friend- So, as a core we believe in communicating with God and we commit ourselves to prayer before any encounter begins or ends, laying our desires and visions at his feet, so that what is of us is torn away and what’s of HIS will, be done. One of our most powerful tools for others is PRAYER, so pray for them.

3. THE STREETS OF UNITY We believe that Christ City ™ was designed to serve the people and help them to discover Jesus Christ’s TRUE passion and love for them, showing them acceptance, and having an open sincere dialog to reach and heal the heart of our city. We believe we are to serve the body of Christ; UNITING the churches, other ministries, and organizations of Sacramento and other cities- to remind them that we serve one GOD, and together we can accomplish anything through Christ.

4. NOT JUST A MUSIC FEST BUT A MOVEMENT We are not just another Christian music festival, but a place to get acquainted, equipped, be heard, find purpose and most of all- experience GOD. It is our goal to share the exciting news of The Gospel of Jesus Christ with our communities. We want to see pastors rise up, churches planted, lives changed, and peoples hearts refined. This is a movement, this is a revolution! Our time is present.

5. SERVE & BE HEARD To be heard, is that by voice or by action? We believe the only true way to be heard is to first; “Stop talking and serve”. We believe we need to just serve others with no agenda. Going out to the community with faith in our God, hoping they see Christ through us. LOVING the SINNER not the SIN. "Be HEARD by your actions!"

6. TRIPLE CORD ROPE We believe that teamwork is a must. We believe in the power of UNITY that three strands are greater than one. We are committed to living a life FAT (faithful, attentive & TEACHABLE) in doing so- we want to be able to come together with others. We want to learn, partner, and network for the Kingdom of our KING Jesus Christ! We are the body, we were NEVER meant to do this alone.

7. WE DARE U TO MOVE!! We believe that God provides many gifts and talents. Are you being used? WE DARE U TO MOVE!

8. NO SELF RECOGNITION HERE Based on Philippians 2:3-4 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. NKJV We believe that self recognition is a door way for destruction. We believe Leaders, Members, and Officers are servants.

9. EQUILIBRIUM We believe that if God’s word doesn’t say it -then we don’t spray it. We want to remain in the balancing truth of God's Word. But, if there is by chance something the Word may not be clear about, then we REFUSE to allow the enemy to BREAK DOWN UNITY and FELLOW SHIP over it. There is ONE Lord ONE Holy Spirit ONE HOPE IN CHRIST ALONE! So-Let the Holy Spirit Reveal it!
