The Christian McFee/Tim Burrows Band was assembled by fate the winter of 2004. Starting as a trio, the band quickly sized down to a duo, removing drums from the format. Like many bands, McFee & Burrows began by playing the basements of Akron, OH. Soon, the guys started playing the northeast Ohio area, cultivating an organic mix of acoustic instruments combined with layers of loops and crunchy leads for the occasional fuzzy rocked out sets that people have come to expect.
Christian and Tim have become versatile by mixing both originals & great cover songs into their sets. A staple party band that combines a myriad of styles - rock/folk-rock/blues/rockabilly/blugrassy/sometimes even a jazzy sound. but always with a spontaneous jam-band feel. The band calls the sound “folkabilly-rock”. Christian and Tim are currently releasing their debut 5-song EP of all original material due to be released this summer.
