Christian Connett has become a transcending and eclectic composer over the last few years. Before defining himself as a composer, he was a professional musician having the honor and privilege of performing with some great musicians and artists over the years. Those artists include Thor and Damon Moreno, The Rekinau Brothers, Newspeak, Vivid, and more.
Christian's experience comes in the form of many genres, including Classical, Electronic, Acoustic, New Age, Instrumental, Progressive, Rock, Blues, Metal, and Industrial.
Among his projects, his collaboration with long-time friend and design artist, Steven Ekanger entitled 'bodyFurnace' shown his electronica/industrial palette. While in the role of co-writer and producer, the duo produced three full-length recordings (failure by design, viole' d'un dieu, reciprocation), and one EP (failures). bodyFurnace appeared on compilation discs, internet sites, and was a staple for Evolutionmax Records.
Although Christian is comfortable in most any type of production, his specialities include evolving soundscapes, dramatic overtones, and electronic cues.
Christian has undertaken many of the 5490 Studios projects as well as working on sequences and title music for Television, Radio, and Animations. Christian has composed advertising commercials, bumpers, liners, and voice-overs for radio and internet programs.
Christian has worked as co-writer, producer, singer, and musician for countless acts, live performances, studio work, and more.
Instrument experiences range from Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Bass, Keyboards and Piano, to ethnic instruments such as Ocarina, Indian Flutes, as well as assorted acoustic, electric, and hand-carved native instruments.
