About Christi Andropolis

Originally from New York State, Christi Andropolis is a singer and fiddler whose musical inspirations range from the Southern States of the US to the UK, exploring the connections between different folk genres on both sides of the Atlantic. From delta blues to Appalachian tunes, she combines the influence of her American roots with a flair for traditional Scottish and English fiddling, establishing a new voice for transatlantic roots music.

Other current projects include Rubus, a new group featuring the vocal talent of Emily Portman (The Devil's Interval). Davewisdom	Oct 20 2006 11:55 AM now come on, christi, your not wasting enough time on myspace, CLEARLY. listen up: i want you to start on a daily routine of at least an hour a day clicking around profiles randomly requesting friends until your eyes bulge, your mouth hangs open and your concentration span dwindles down to three seconds. increase daily in incriments of ten minutes. stop only when you halucinate dancing badgers in sombreoes... then you have probably gone too far. its a delicate balance, admittedly.
