July 4th we are starting at 1:00pm and going until 6:00pm: We will be having a big July 4th blowout and Open House, we have about 20 singers and groups coming for an all afternoon of singing and praising the Lord. The concessions will be sold and the Church will be open for viewing. Also the singers will have their booths where you can purchase their cds.
Some of the artists include: Got Mercy, Jim Ricketts, New Paved Road, Sharon Foskey, Dana Russell, Ron Sample, Dee Anna Withtrow, Chuck Robinson, plus many more.
You got to come to this one, what better way to celebrate Independence Day than praising the Lord.

Lord, some new guide lines
have been set in place!
Non Featured Open Mic guests
1. Each artist or group will sing one song in each round
2. A Four (4) minute time limit per artist or group. Please help to keep this
service running smoothly.
3. Please sign the cue sheet at the sound booth. It is best to be prepared to
sing at any time. With each artist only singing one song, depending on how
many artists are present, you may get to sing more than once.
4. Soundtracks. Please have your tracks clearly labeled with your name and
song. We prefer CD tracks, but can also play Mini Disk and Cassettes. If
using Cassettes please make sure they are Cued.
5. All advertising will be done by staff during intermission. If you have an event or happening, please write it out and give it to the announcer. Time
permitting, announcements will be made during intermission 1 or 2.
These changes have been made for the purpose of having a
more Spiritual service and to bring Praise unto the Lord.
Featured Groups will sing for a full
30 minutes at approx 7pm, then
again for 15 to 20 minutes to close
the service.

The directions for the are as follows:
From Hwy 153 North, take the Hwy 58 North exit toward Decatur and drive nine tenths of a mile to the fourth traffic light and turn left at Central Park Drive In on Webb Road.
Drive two tenths of a mile on Webb Road and turn left into the driveway of Oakwood Community Church. The CKC is in the big gymnasium behind the Church
If you are coming from the North on Hwy 58, you will turn right at the traffic light on Oakwood Drive, just passed K-Mart and it will lead you directly to the church
