Been collecting records all my life, which is fun. Compiled many comps for various labels most notably fat city and cherry red. Also Ive run a few hip hop labels releasing records with various artists like the great Lewis Parker. Presently concentrating on my Choonz Inc label which spawned the massive club and radio hit 'music feel the soul' and tracks from 3D featuring Roy Ayres n stuff, this is a more nu soul type project. I also look after a few acts like the 45 Midgets and even an indie band [well ya gotta get paid]
Been diggin for records since i was kid, started collecting rare soul back in the 8ts when i used to attend northern soul allnighters and this encouraged my first buyin trip to the States. Soon i was collecting jazz, soul, funk and specialising in the more pyschy beats n breaks ,library ,wierdy soundtrack ,folk funk type of vinyl. Reckon Ive turned up a few tunes in my time and touch wood will turn up some mo. Catch me djing at Electric mud, B music, Friends and familey, Blow up etc in Manchester ,The Hifi club in Leeds, various spots in Liverpool and hot spots around the world.
