Yeshua Rising	Sep 12 2008 3:20 PM Hey to all- I just wanted to share something that I think is pretty cool and a good way to help people that really need it and appreciate it as well. I do this thing for the Salvation Army where instead of ringing a bell, I play my guitar and sing out in front of a popular shopping location (Walmart) to raise money for the poor and homeless. I play the stuff I know (which is classic rock mostly). I usually raise the most money by a single person in the shortest amount of time, and it is always deeply appreciated. It's also A LOT OF FUN!!! I have felt a tugging in my heart for about 5 years to get this going on a national level, and what better way than Myspace, and what better time than now. They take volunteers to ring the bell in November through December, for the holiday season. Please contact me for more information, or just let me know that you are going to do this as I am going to try to keep track of this to see how well it pans out. I feel that this is the one thing that God had lead me to do more than anything right now, and I am praying that you will feel that tug on your heart as well. Even if you only have 1 hour to play ( I usually try to do 4 hour sets with breaks in there somewhere) it will make a big difference. I have even had folks tell me that they have NEVER given to the Salvation Army kettles until they saw me playing music they liked and decided to give because they thought it was cool and far better than the "annoying bell" they usually block out and avoid. Please help, and ask all of your musician friend to as well. This really is a very fun and very cool thing to do and I look forward to doing it again this year after taking a break last year due to health reasons. Thank you and God Bless!
