Singing National Anthems for Championship High School games, NCAA Basketball,Football and Baseball games since 15, Nelson eventually earned a spot as an opening act for Memphis Bleek, a well-known Rocafella recording artist. Attending college at Ferris State University, Michigan State, and Lansing Community College he studied Marketing Management and General Business. Nelson has utilized the resources that school provided, to establish himself as a creditable artist and entertainer.He is a very self motivated individual who is always willing to listen and learn.With a great sense of humor and a cool demeanor, its a great addition to how his social awareness of real people with real issues can be felt through his music. Nelson has had the opportunity to work with professional artist such as Glen Mosley,( has produced for Tyrese, 3lW, De la Soul) O- MUSIC ENT,( Mario Winans production affiliates), Tito 6 (Rocafella affiliate) as well as opening for professional artist BOBBY V., TREY SONGZ, JEREMIH, SISQO of Dru Hill and Tone Tone from SHONUFF Records. He is a solo artist that writes his own lyrics and has collaborated .. with a number of hip-hop/ Inspirational/ and Rythym and Blues artists all over the World. Nelson, 25, now resides in MI where he is a singer/songwriter/entertainer that is well on his way to making a name for the whole world to know. With a witty and uncompromising style of music, he stays in the game by receiving radio air-play and performing live. Nelson was featured on Showtime at the Apollo in November of 2007 in Harlem. He is featured on WQHH 96.5 FM, the largest urban radio station in Lansing, MI as well as 97.5 FM the largest Top 40 station in Lansing. He is also the featured Intro artist for the prominent radio host Jazzy T at FM 98 WJLB on Sundays 10am to 2pm in Detroit MI. This has gained him an enormous fan base and created a stepping stone for his bigger goal, becoming a World known Independent artist and songwriter for a major record label.
