Christian Ravaglioli was born in Ravenna (Italy) in 1975, after classic studies and degrees in Piano and Oboe, had an intense collaboration with theatres of world-wide ( such as "musical foundation Santa Cecilia" Rome, orchestra "Teatro alla Scala" Milan, orchestra of North Texas University Dallas, Orchestra Giorgio Strehler Milan).
Recently he has engaged in a new way that ranges from composition, improvisation, until contemporary music. For 5 years he studied composition, including the Maestro Ennio Morricone.
As composer he makes his debut in spectacle H2o made by theatre Giuditta Pasta in Milan, there are numerous collaborations, for example with: Orchestra "Arturo Toscanini" by Parma Italy, Alessandro Bergonzoni - writer, Stefano Benni - writer, "Centurie" festivaletteratura07 Mantova Italy, Theatrical Company “ Teatro alle Albe” (Italy), Ivano Marescotti - film and theatre actor, Europe Jazz Network. He played as composer and musician in Blue Note (Milan), in Parco della musica (Rome), casa del jazz (Rome), in Crossroads, Mei, Rai 2 Tv (Italy), WNYC (New York public radio) and other ones.
A mong the last collaborations and recordings: Vinicio Capossela, Marco Tamburini - trumpet, Gianluca Petrella - trombone, Jovanotti (Safari), Bil Elm, Howe Gelb, Hector Luis Moreno, John Deleo, Ersilio Tonini - Cardinal, Achille Succi - bass clarinet, Piero Odorici - sax, Kellie Rucker, Naim Amor, Marianne Dissard - Calexico.
Than the oboe and the piano also plays the piano Rhodes, Hammond, Synth, Accordion, always of the oboe family He play Duduk (antique oboe) and English Horn which he uses in a very personal and diagonal way.
