Music is worldlanguage

I believe in being as honest and straightforward as possible,it..s not always easy,i will not be judged only by my music, but by the small things.But then i shouldnot judge at all.judging means suffering. it..s the smallest things that will decide over a mans destiny ,,a word spoken is a thought made real,an alive form,all life exists as an idea before it becomes material,for example feelings hurt through a careless word will move people away and doors will stay closed-doors that were waiting for you to enter-- wide open.i can see myself,parts of me in you,my fears and hopes and strenghts and weaknesses,all the emotional energie that lies hidden or concealed or comes out in one colour or the other.Don..t think,don..t judge,check your beliefs,understand!! beauty,happiness -trauma and suffering are so close together,i must be happy when i can,it is a matter of inner hygiene,discipline of mind.i will keep my devil in when i can and give my best to accept love with an open heart,and i will not put my finger on the scars too often.

Acoustic sound with punch! For his songs the songwriter Chris uses influences ranging from folk to funk,alternative rock,reggae,blues and even hip hop.

Very notable is Chris Schermers special style of fingerstyle acoustic guitar playing-sometimes sounding like 3 guys at once.

The new album of Chris Schermer&THE FONK :i self produced it and faced many interesting challenges in the process.the Computer often wouldnt act up when i thought it should and my nerves were lying blank most of the time.it wasn..t really fun.the initial writing was fun,the ideas were fun ,but often my perfectionism really took its toll on me and everyone who was kind enough to be there supporting me through this album----it is basically scraps of ideas from different times...laid out and worked on,sometimes overworked on ,but hey ,it..s just an album--its not bloody rocketscience...check it out ,let me know what u think ,what u like and what makes u wanna puke..whatever..i don..t really care...take it ..its there,its done. will be released by june 2009.love peace jah protect!
