About me:
Hi, welcome to our site!
I'm Paula Hocking, I'm a member of The Christian Dance Fellowship and have the responsibilty of co-ordinating Youth Dance.
The aim of the Christian Youth Dance is;
-> To network with Youth leaders and dancers.
-> To nurture young people in their faith through dance.
-> To guide, encourage, equip, and direct young people by providing information, dates of dance events, workshops, and resources (as we best can)!
We all know that King David danced, thank God for David! A man after Gods heart, a man who danced.
Acts 13vs36:
"...David served God's purposes for his generation..."
We want to see Christian Dancers serving God's purpose in THIS generation!
Keep dancing!

Who I'd like to meet:
JESUS!
We believe that the character and attitude of Jesus is more important than the gift of dance, and the shape of a dancer!
The heart of The Christian Youth Dance is;
To encourage this generation in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
To be a servant to this generation.
God has purpose and plans for each individual life, we want to serve those who seek to discover their place in the Kingdom of God and fulfil what they were designed to fulfil.
To be used by God as a tool for Him to deepen in the hearts of this generation.
We pray this generation will grow in a God confidence that will take them wherever His spirit leads.
We encourage young people to use dance to worship.
We encourage young people in their creativity.
To create workshop environments where young people can express and explore their faith.
We teach a biblical understanding of the use of dance and the arts both in the Church and the wider community.
We encourage Youth Dance Leaders to find opportunities where dancers can get involved in community dance/arts events.
We encourage dancers who want to improve their skills to aim to be a good standard so the quality of dance will affectively communicate the Gospel/issue.
