..Oh, I love to read.....Harry Potter books (Yes, I do, I'm sorry.), I love Nora Robets novels, I love to escape into a novel for a while.....I read alot of quilt and cross-stitch charts but I guess that doesn't really count.....I tend to read alot of Thomas The Tank Engine (my son's favourite!), we do different voices for the characters, it's fun! We read every night before bed!....and, yes, I still read the Raggedy Ann stories. Very often, in fact, to both myself and my son, whenever either one of us needs an extra smile!Heroes

About me:
I am a 41 year old single mom who has had the good fortune this late in life to meet the man of my dreams! I think it is good that it took this long though. I couldn't possibly love or appreciate him as much as he deserves if I hadn't paid my dues and suffered so much. We make our own way and we pave our own streets and i have just been lucky enough to have taken enough time to pave this golden road right to Aaron's heart! (God bless the broken road that led me straight to you.--Rascal Flatts) My kids are my reason for being. I love them more than life itself. I am so proud of my kids and really glad they've turned out so fabulous so it will look really good for me when I die! (hahahahahaha!) I'm really an old-fashioned girl that loves to take care of hearth and home. I love quilting, canning, gardening, sewing, and, yes, cleaning. Folks think I am nuts but I swear I was just born in the wrong era! Love country music and all it has to say! I find my life in lyrics every other song I hear!!! As much of a homebody I am, nothing makes me happier than to open my doors and have the wonderful friends that have gathered around me over the years over for big meals or go to their houses and enjoy wonderful company. Basically, what I trying to say, I guess, my life is finally exactly what I have always wanted it to be..... <3 <3 <3..

Well, I have already met the best....Weird Al!!! And, of course, my Aaron! I would love to meet John Rich. (He is my favourite cowboy! Yum!) Would love to meet Nora Roberts and J.K. Rowling, two single moms who wrote huge successful novels and have inspired me to start "talking" the chapters in my head into a pocket size tape recorder...yikes! scary! I wouldn't mind meeting Arlo Guthrie and Bob Dylan. (I could hang out with Arlo, I'm sure that would be fun, but I probably wouldn't understand a word that Dylan said!)Details

The boy must have lost his tonsils by now-how'd that go? Steve's on nights for two weeks so I don't plan to get out much. It's been one thing after another-we have to get Chinese somehow! I guess the other thing is going well, judging by the comment below mine! Glad to hear it!
