I am very fortunate to have many wonderful opportunities to be up close and personal with lots of interesting exotic animals and capture their personalities with my camera. My very favorite of them all are the regal great cats. I have done photography for several animal sanctuaries, private zoos and also for many of the animal trainers in the entertainment industry--including my good friend Randy Miller of Predators in Action and I do photography for the excellent wildlife artist, Chris Hoy.
I am the Director of Public Relations & Photographer for Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary in the high desert of Phelan, CA (www.4everwild.org). Forever Wild is a big cat rescue center owned and operated by Joel and Chemaine Almquist. We have taken in cats from all over the country to save their lives or protect them from abuse. They have a loving home with us forever once they arrive. We currently have 24 exotic cats that include 10 tigers, 3 black leopards, 3 cougars, a spotted leopard, 4 African Serval cats, a Siberian Lynx and 2 bobcats. Working with these amazing animals has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I am so lucky to be able to bond with these beautiful creatures!
I don't take it for granted for one single second.
I would love to have met Joan Blondell, who was an actress from the 1930's. I was once told that I was her look-alike so I found her photos on the web. It is shocking how much I look like her. We have the same exact face. We have to be related! And, I keep finding amazing things that we have in common.
I wonder.....I am now one of her biggest fans!

Check out the amazing work of my friend Randy Miller, who is an expert animal trainer and stunt man . He is also owner of Predators in Action in Big Bear, CA. Randy was the very first World Stunt Award Winner in 2001 for his work as the stunt double for Russell Crowe in the box office hit "Gladiator". He has lions, tigers, grizzly bears, a cougar and a black leopard that he uses in huge movie and television projects for staged attack and wrestling scenes. Perhaps you've seen his other incredible work in "The Last Samurai", "Semi-Pro", "Two Brothers" (and the list goes on and on). Be sure to check out his awesome My Space page that I just re-designed for him too. He's one of my top friends!

TGIF!! How are you?? I hope your week has been a blessed one! Mine has went by soo fast! I've GOT to start packing...I know I'll do the majority of it tom night, there are alot of things you just can't pack until right before you leave b/c you're still using them! LOL! I have all my fur-babies taken care of for when we leave. My oldest son, Darren (16), has a girlfriend, THis is his first girlfriend! I am so shocked at how he's acting and how sweet he is to her! I am like..."Is this my son??" But she is a sweetheart and they are 'head over heels'. Thank Heavens for an unlimited text plan!! LOL! I checked our acct online and he was right at 7,000 text msgs and my month doesn't roll over until the 14th!! THAT is some serious texting going on! I told him I'd run out of things to say! LOL! Well, I need to get off here and get in bed. I've got a BUSY,LONG night ahead of me tom. night. And if I don't get a chance to send comments out again before we leave, I'll be back home on the 17th..BUT I'll have my iPhone w/me and I'll be checking in when I can..Don't forget me!
