Christina LaRocca is a native Brooklynite with soul, and set of pipes. She has been called a soul stirring diva, a contemplative songwriter, someone with good taste & talented friends, and all around cool chick.
Her band Heavy Weather released “Miles of Mud” in 2008. Both Christina and her band have performed at the NYC Songwriter’s Circle, Live on 101.9 RXP on Rich Russo’s Anything Anything Show .., Wave Gathering Festival ’08, Millennium Music Conference <10, 11, 12>. They also won the IAR Next Level Competition in 2008, and even Carnegie Hall with the Wagner College Choir in 2005. Miss LaRocca has been a part of the “From the Penthouse” series at Tainted Blue Studios in Times Square since it began in 2007.
