About Christina Marie

Born in Bournemouth, Christina Marie is a classically trained singer and cellist now living in London. Her talent has always been divided between composing songs at the piano and playing the cello, though it wasn't until she started teaching herself the guitar at the age of 18 that her songs began to develop an "entirely unique style and sound".

Christina gained a scholarship to study the cello at The Royal College of Music in 2007 and has since been dividing her time between classical commitments and gigging across London. In Early 2008 she was nominated for an Indy Music Award by London Unplugged and is now looking for the opportunity to record her debut album..

Not hesitating to take refuge in strange and harmonious sounds which plunge the listener in a completely atmospheric universe. Influenced by groups like Pink Floy, Radiohead, Archive, MUSE, led Zeppelin…, it is on scene that the group reveals all its creativity and its alchemy; between slow pieces and others faster they make us share an Ambient Rock'n'roll as of more shivering. Without speaking about the song leader pure and unforeseeable.
