About me: I have one 5 year old girl, Katelyn Alyssa. We moved to Thief River Falls, Minnesota to be closer to my parents. We are about an hour from the Canadian border and I am trying so hard not to lose my Texas accent just to be replaced with one of the Northerner accents like in the movie Fargo, "Sure, you betcha". Life is a total 180 here compared to Dallas. Our town has about 8,000 people in it and the closest "big city" is Grand Forks, North Dakota...which is about 55 minutes away and Fargo is the next closest about 2 hours away.

It ABSOLUTELY KILLS US but there's literally no way that Steve can get off work since mom booked it from Mon-Wed...Wed is the end of his pay period and although he has vacation days, he was declined because he didn't put in notice sooner and since no one else can do his job. Soooo, as depressing as it is, we're going to stay behind and take care of the pets for everyone and let dad go. He called last night and begged me to just take a road trip with just he and I and the pets. It was so hard to turn him down...he's just precious now. Remember how mean he used to be?!?!?! Hahahahaha~people like Tim and Heather are shocked to see him so sweet and talkative! Anyway, it's for the best, since it's just a matter of time until he can't see at all. But, we'll have plenty of time to hang out and be together. I'm definitely doing the zoo and Katelyn's tea party, plus I want to take Katey to Petland here in Lewisville. I love you so much and can't wait to see you guys!!
