My interests are many...I love anything sciencey (that's a technical term), I adore singing and the outdoors (sometimes together), discussing the overlap of science and spirituality, Bush bashing (as in George W.), Martial Arts, and finding new interests to name a few.Music
mmm...music DOES tame the savage beast...especially when you play Rob Zombie at full blast! Seriously...I love all kinds of music from classical (especially opera) to country but some of my pop favorites (this week) include Amy Winehouse (boy, I hope she gets the help she needs), Neil Young (a perenial fav), and Alabama 3.Movies
My favorite movies are the ones SPIKE plays when they do the "movies for guys who like movies". I LOVE action/ adventure/ monsters/ dragons/ vampires/ giant insects/ and maybe a little romance thrown in fer good measure. I also have a weakness for old technicolor epics like Ben Hur and Cleopatra...great for rainy Sunday afternoons. Currently my favorite recent movie is 300. Uber action...uber eye candy (hehe) and very stylish...made me want to go out and get 6 pack abs...I settled for a 6-pack of Mikes Hard Lemonade. Oh, yeah...and I'm a closet Star Wars geek...don't tell anyone...I got a rep to keep up...Television
Books
I love to read all kinds of books but my favorites are historic fiction like The Red Tent (Anita Diamante) and I, Elizabeth (Rosalind Miles). I generally have several books I'm reading and I'm always on the prowl for a great book.Heroes
