Niall O’Leary
When I’m not pushing poetry, I’m kicking up dust with Niall O’Leary and some of his other Irish dancers . We perform at venues in NYC, like Symphony Space, B.B.King’s, and almost every real Irish pub in NYC. We dance a lot with Larry Kirwan’s Black 47 at Connolly’s in Time Square. Black 47 is one of the best live bands and they rock the block on Saturday nights. Check out their calendar at www.black47.com
Bowery Kids
Bowery Kids is a series featuring kids’ entertainment that is interactive, fun, and educational. I produce the series out of the Bowery Poetry Club at 308 Bowery in Manhattan. All shows are noon – 1 PM on Sundays. All shows get kids and parents up on their feet dancing, singing, laughing. Some of our real popular artists include Jazz-A-Ma-Tazz, Gustafer Yellowgold’s Wild Wild World, Circus Minimus, the Deedle Deedle Dees, Tiny Ninja Theater, and Taikoza Japanese Drummers.

hey christine, im taking the coolest fucking class ever! it's hip hop and performance poetry, and for my midterm, i re wrote my own version of howl. it's in my blog, tell me what u think of it? : ) i'm gonna try to bring the slam team from Binghamton to a Bowery slam sometime this semester, or next semester.... it's a long ways from bumfuck new york tho.... hows life goin? : )
