And any mix of the following:
Yuri Broze, Megan Cox, Jason Bernstein, Jesse Dietschi, Bernie Wolski...
Influences
Rock, trashy country, obscure indie pop, folk, classical, everything, emulating great voices, my parents owning a radio station as a kid, LIFE.
Sia, Bjork, Gwen Stefani, Lauren Hill, Fiona Apple, Feist, Sade, Judy Garland, Astrud Gilberto. Every woman that I hear sing or perform influences me. To either try what she's trying or to learn why I don't want to do what she does.
Sounds Like
I get Feist & lately Elizabeth and the Catapult & Splashdown.
"Nice is right... Hoberg has a nice, mellow, vocally driven sound -- sometimes pained, sometimes more sassy and aggressive and sometimes just pretty. (The "pretty" is most fun in "White A**" when she sings about "All the sh**** things you've done to me.") I bet she's been compared to Norah Jones before..."
-Christa Lawler, DNT
"From the performance at the Lady of the Lake, Nice is an understatement to say the least. The rhythm and blues based songs, with jazz motifs blended with the warmth and zest of Hoberg’s voice, complimented the early evening atmosphere..."
-Tim Banman, Quill
"Christine Hoberg has one of the most beautiful voices I have heard in a very long time."
-Detroit Riot
"A treat for the ears"
-EJEFF
"With Christine Hoberg we're talking a very stripped down, but versatile and challenging voice with - in some tracks - very little else besides. It's drenched, versatile and clever..."

"Christine Hoberg’s “I Find the Time In Serbia” is an homage to subtle ruination. It’s a gentle flowing-on of a stream forever redirected. It’s the summation of time spent hoping having been wasted, as the hope has been dashed on the rocks and scattered into little tiny pieces of glass that only a fool would think were seeds."
-Songwonder
"Christine Hoberg has a sultry, slippery, jazzy croon with nicely awkward edges..."
-Indyish.com
"You get a butterflies-in-the-stomach kinda feeling while watching Christine perform...a feeling that those beautiful melodies are being sung just for you, and knowing Christine, they may just be."
-DJ Walt Dizzo (KUWS)
