music is a big interest of mine.. i play the piano, and i've been writing music for about 5 years. it's all just my own private stuff mostly, only really good friends get to hear a lot of it. i love playing though.. it just puts me in that great sort of "content" mood. i'm also interested in candle lit dinners, long walks on the beach, and aquarians. lol.

Currently reading 2 books.. the Armchair Economist, and Blink; Freakonomics, Survivor, Me Talk Pretty One Day, The life of Edgar Cayce, I've also read John Edwards' biography as well as Drew Barrymore's. That chick had a tough growing up, i tell ya what. John Edwards just freaks me out. Siddhartha was great, and so was A Walk in Wolf Wood.
I suppose I should update this since it's been about 2 years since I wrote in this section!
Well, I'm married to the freakin love of my life and most awesome guy ever, Chris, and we have a baby who was born July 29th '07 who is actually probably tied for the title of the most awesome guy ever, lol. His name is Ryan Matthew. 'Tis true that you never really know your capacity for love until you have a baby, and you never can prepare yourself for it. There's no explaining the love when that little guy looks in my eyes, and there's on one else in this world I'd give my life for.
We just bought a house (we closed on it 2 days before Ryan was born!) and it's great finally being a homeowner. It's a beautiful townhome that was just built in Woodbridge VA.
I love my life, but I miss 'home' and the people in it a lot. I think Baltimore will always be home to me, wherever I end up. It's really hard keeping in touch with everyone there, even though it's only 1.5 hours away. I don't see them nearly enough. :-( But hopefully they know I love them and always will no matter how bad of a friend I am!!! ;-)
Ok, what else, I'm a big fan of alcohol, lol, specifically red wine, rum and diet coke, and since giving birth I've been totally in love with pina coladas whereas before Ryan came along I hated coconut drinks. Weird. I really enjoy word and puzzle games, and I love playing poker with my husband, mom and stepdad. I know, I have no life. But it's fun!! Ok I'm done.
Who I'd like to meet: Oh goodness gracious. Ok, i'd love to meet Jason Mraz first off i think. He's my new obsession at the moment. i'd also love to meet the guys from Lifehouse.. especially Jason Wade. If only that stupid bastard wasn't married. good think I'M married also or else we'd be fighting.
I'd love to meet my dad's mom, she died when my dad was young. i've always wondered about her. Let's see.. mark wahlberg, will farrell, and cleopatra. i think that covers it.
this weekend is olivia's bday and then we might go downtown to fed hill or canton. wanna come??? olivia's bday is at chucky cheese, you're more than welcome to come if you want to bring the lil man? Or you can meet up with us afterwards?? whatcha think??

Hey Dude, I had many weird dreams last night and you were there... so was bev. Bev and I went to visit you in some foreign country, and Bev decided to stay and get a job, but then killed someone at the restuarant... it was all very strange. Cynthia was there too. Anyway, I love the new page, oh and I finally bought the lifehouse cd... sounds pretty good so far. There's not that many songs on it though. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and I miss you. :)
