ABOUT ME
My name is
Christine Monet Johnson and I'm a freelance
photographer &
graphic designer.
Just a little info. on me... I'm currently a
3rd year college student @
Cal State Long Beach, majoring in
film. I got into photography in high school after my sophomore english teacher (who just so happened to be the photography teacher) convinced me that having a strong knowledge in photography would "help me
immensely in film". He was right, though even if he wasn't I wouldn't have cared. From the first moment I stepped into the dark room I was
hooked. I went on to take
3 semesters of photo, making it all the way to "advanced photography" which no class prior to mine had done. I recieved an
ROP certificate in photography and in graphic design since both classes were in partnership with
Palomar College.
My goals as a freelance photographer are to...

I like to consider myself a
candid photographer, meaning I take pictures in their
natural state. I thoroughly enjoy photojournalism and taking portraits of people as if
no one's watching. I also
*love* photographing
animals, primarily
cats since I'm a devote cat-lover. >^..^<
