Born in Sabah, East Malaysia, Christine started learning the piano at 4 and began playing in the church three years later. Later on, she graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Professional Music majoring in Arranging and Performance. With her classical background plus jazz exposure in Boston, she began embarking on a career as a keyboardist/pianist in the Chinese pop concert arena at the age of 20. To date, artists she has played for includes Vivian Chow, Gigi Leong, Leo Ku, Jimmy Lin, Francis Yip, Eric Moo, Phil Chang, A*mei, Sally Yeh and Stephanie Sun. These concert gigs has brought her to Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Australia, Canada and U.S.A. She has been touring with local songbird Stephanie Sun extensively since 2004.
After her move to Singapore in 99’, Christine established herself as a composer for the media. Over the past 7 years she has written TVC/radio music with client names like Nokia, Total Defense Singapore, SK Jewellery, HSBC, Caltex, Fujitsu, Big Babol (China), Sunshine bread, Osim, Army Defense Singapore, Bigen, Poh Heng Jewellery, Disney, OCBC, Radio 93.3, Dodge, Toshiba Regza, National Arts Council, Singtel and etc. She is currently freelancing.
Besides composing, she has also been a producer and music programmer for the inflight entertainment with clients like Malaysia Airlines, Thai Airways, Finnair, Air China, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airways and Mongolian Airlines from 2000 till now.
In Mar 05, Christine joined the all girl R&B band - Walking on Water. They have performed their originals and also funky interpretations of cover songs at the Waterfront Esplanade, Fort Canning, Siloso Beach, Northern Thailand, Lunchbox concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall and held a concert at University of Cultural Centre. Their repertoire style ranges from pop, jazz, R&B to gospel. Their debut “Into Our Faith” is out now.
In 2005, Christine scored the soundtrack for Eric Khoo’s award winning feature “Be With Me” which opened for the Cannes Film Festival that year. Few months later, the soundtrack produced by herself was released, with the pop-rock “Be With Me” sung by herself receiving airplay on MTV channel while her remixed version of the movie’s opening theme received airplay on Lush 99.5
In her free time, she likes to collaborate with musicians, watch foreign films and learn new things. She finds her inspiration in the beauty of nature and she enjoys hanging out with creative personalities..

Hey Christine, I just got back from a quick run with Mark Stuart (great song writer). I'm mostly in Los Angeles, I built a recording studio and tracking lots of drums for projects. I'm producing movie scores and pop, rock and blues stuff! FUN! What about you? P
