I love to write. I've always got at least 1 or 2 story lines running through my head and my friends are well aware that anything they say or do may very well end up in a blog....or six!
If I’m not writing, I’ve probably got my nose stuck in a book. I read as much, if not more, than I write. Everything from Anne Rice to Jane Austin graces my shelves.
If it’s a romance novel, I’ll check it out. If it’s got a paranormal twist, I’ll probably buy it. If it’s got some exciting adventure or suspense theme, I probably own it. Throw in a sexy, brooding vampire hero and I probably own it AND know it by heart.
I am fiercely independent and self-sufficient but my family and friends are as important to me as the air I breathe.

I am immensely enjoying embarrassing my nieces and nephews with my innate “uncoolness”. It is, after all, a legacy that MUST be passed down. I don’t have any kids of my own, mostly because I haven’t found anyone worth having kids with. I could do it by myself if I had to, but I’m not VOLUNTEERING to be a single mom.
I love to laugh, usually at inappropriate and unexpected moments. If everyone else thinks it’s cheesy, I’ll probably love it!
I value the opinions and insights of my family and close friends but I really don’t much care what the general public thinks of me. So, yeah. I’m the one stopping in the middle of the street to do the Cupid Shuffle.

I can be a lady if the situation calls for it, but I can throw back of shot of whiskey as quick as the next guy too. (coconut rum is my weakness and yes, it’s always gone and I know EXACTLY why)
The quickest way to get me to do something is to tell me I can’t. Don’t bother with reverse psychology though. I took psych 101 and passed. Oh, and don’t dare me to do something. If I accept, and I usually do, it will probably end badly.....
Don’t tell me something because it’s what you think I want to hear. I’d rather hear the truth. Even if it’s not pretty. I don’t tolerate liars, cheaters or arrogant jerks. Confidence is sexy. So is humility.
I’m usually a pretty easy going person. I don’t like to plan things. I’d rather wing it and see what happens. Some of the greatest moments in my life have been total accidents.
I’m a horrible procrastinator and I’m late for EVERYTHING. Can’t seem to help it. I’ll probably be late for my own funeral. I’m also a night person so it’s best to avoid me if I haven’t been awake long. If you choose to mess with me before I've had time to adjust to daylight, I WILL NOT be held responsible for anything I say or do....
I DON’T DO DRAMA. I’m not just saying that for the sake of saying it. I HATE it!!! I avoid conflict in general and normally if someone starts something, I’ll just leave. I’d rather spend my time having fun then warding off physical or verbal attacks.
Don't push me though. I can THROW DOWN if I have to...
Life is short folks. Too damn short.
So, laugh every chance you get. Love with everything you’ve got and if it hurts too much, let it go.
