About Christmas Chickens

When Steve Foster wanted to make a CD for his family for Christmas, he called upon his one true muse; THE CHICKEN. It is told as folklore that Steve was raised by a pack of chickens in the wild and learned the ways of the “ruffled feather” to survive. Steve’s parents wholeheartedly disown his mythical upbringing and offer a simpler answer to everyone’s burning question; WHY CHICKENS? In an actual reality, chickens did not rear Steve nor was he schooled in the ways of the "ruffled feather”, but he was a subject of classic bedtime stories in his childhood. His fragile mind wrapped around the metaphorical musings of Aesop’s fables and mother goose’s morals only to infuse them into a twisted outlook on life which eventually brought about the CHRISTMAS CHICKENS album. You, the listener, are assaulted with a bevy of reasons to KEEP LISTENING as the familiar Christmas carol melodies are distorted in the most demented way with fowl intentions. Surly the mastermind behind such and album entitled, “What More Can There Be than Steve Foster and his Christmas Chickens” acknowledges the magnitude of the holiday atrocity that plagues the countryside even now as you listen.
