"...an impressive piece of work. Christmas Fuller Project makes music like no else in Northwest Arkansas, and I’m eager to see what they can do on their next LP."
--Ozarks Unbound
"I'm surprised something like this is coming out of Arkansas.
[I'm] absolutely in love with this song right now."
--Circles of Concrete
"Christmas Fuller Project is out of Arkansas and have a quality that is hard to point to, but makes the music personable... gives off that feeling of talking to an old friend, in addition to just being really catchy."
--The Album Project
"Christmas Fuller Project is indeed a great band, a great indie band, actually."
--Eardrums Music
"“Green & Lonely” might not divert much from other bands in the indie music scene, but it does testify that at least one band in Northwest Arkansas does have the quality and the songwriting abilities to get to the top of the indie rock scene."
--Free Weekly
"Christmas Fuller Project is four college-age guys from Arkansas who play the sort of thoughtful, cheerful pop music that I would have died for in high school, when I wanted nothing more to slip into someone else's shoes and get away. They've been playing together since 2005, and their work ethic is obvious; I expect their music will only get better."
--The Glorious Hum
"All of a sudden, I continue to hear new bands on almost a weekly basis that make me say “I can’t believe these guys are from Fayetteville,” and Christmas Fuller Project is one of those bands."
--Fayetteville Flyer
"It is nice to see such ambition from a young band and on the whole it mostly pays off... they combine delicious melodies with sweeping guitar lines and occasionally hushed vocals."
--Oceans Never Listen
"You’re not going to be disappointed by this album. I’m not going to inflate this album so much as to tell you it’s one of the all-time greats, but it’s certainly good. You probably won’t find it on any year-end lists of any major music reviewer, but that’s in-part because they’ve never heard it."
--The Ghost of Me
"Christmas Fuller Project knows it's showing its musical influences where everyone can clearly see them, but a band with this much pop craftsmanship to start out with should round into its own in no time."
--Minutia Music
Christmas Fuller Project is an indie pop/rock four-piece based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas. CFP formed in 2005 as an outlet for four singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalists to further craft their songs in a full-band setting. The lineup now consists of Tyler Ceola (keyboards), Brandon George (vocals, guitars), Cameron Heger (drums, percussion), and Aaron Hopwood (bass, vocals).
While the number of contributing songwriters gives them a very eclectic sound, all four members share common unifying influences. CFP’s primary influences include Radiohead, Wilco, Sufjan Stevens, Death Cab for Cutie, The Arcade Fire, The Beatles, Sigur Ros, Spoon. They combine beautiful, melody-driven pop music with rock sensibilities and occasionally experimental instrumentation. They played their first show in February 2006 and have played consistently throughout Northwest Arkansas since.
In May 2006, they released 5-song demo CD titled The Milkhouse EP, a collection of straightforward pop songs. Soon after, they began another batch of DIY recordings, which ultimately became their first full-length album The Philosophy of Time Travel, released June 2007.
The band, while playing primarily near Fayetteville, has garnered two Northwest Arkansas Music Award nominations and other positive press from minor music publications.
They also enjoy writing about themselves in the third person.
