Chris debuted in 2000 at the gala performance for Sound Escape: A Conference on Acoustic Ecology with a duo with Koln for voice and amplified florescent light. In 2002, Chris joined the Critical Studies and Experimental Practices in Music program at the University of California, San Diego, where he is currently completing his PhD. Chris has performed in the US, Canada and Japan with soundsingers: Makigami Koichi, Tomomi Adachi, Paul Dutton, Jaap Blonk, Charlie Morrow, and Seo Ryo and instrumentalists: Don Nicols, Natsuki Tamura, Tucker Dulin, Mannlicher Carcano, Michelle Lou, Keiko Komori, Reiko Manabe, Joe Sarlo, Don Scott and many other friends and colleagues.
