Hello, all, and welcome to my music page. Previous incarnations have given a semi-comprehensive rundown on my musical past, but this new version will be focused on my future. This is a forum for my original material, which is admittedly few and far between, but when I get the itch, it goes here.
So, I will actually provide a proper bio. I was born on February 21, 1976, in Montreal, Quebec. I was zero years old. I've had a lifelong fascination with music, always singing, banging on things, and generally being an overly cheery nuisance for my parents. My first musical instrument that I played in earnest was the violin which I picked up in third grade. By junior high school, I wanted to be a drummer, but due to the prohibitively high cost of drums, and the fact that I just loved my aforementioned parents too much, I took up guitar instead (okay, that's not true, I took up guitar because my older brother played). Regardless, I still can't afford a drum kit.
I discovered rock music from a fairly unlikely place- reruns of the old Monkees TV show. From there it was a hop, skip and a jump to The Beatles, and giving up on ensemble playing with the orchestra for the more noble pursuit of getting some tail with my rock star ways. Okay, that's not true either, I just didn't like the way Beatles songs sounded on violin. Regardless, I never got any tail from my rock star ways, either.
From 1992 until now, I slogged through the trenches with a myriad of bands, and somewhere around the turn of the millennium, I made the transition to being a bassist, as bassists are always in demand, so I could make a better living that way. Okay, that's also untrue, I just realized I was a better bassist than guitarist. Regardless, I have made more money rocking four strings instead of six.
I started playing with record production in my late teens when my techno savvy mind realized how to layer sounds with two cassette decks and a Radio Shack mixer. That passion remains to this day, and the studio in my current apartment is way more advanced than some of the ones I worked at in the late 1990s. It is archaic by modern standards, but if it were still 1996, I'd be a god. Again, untrue; regardless, my stuff would be pretty cool to a gen-x teenager.
And that is the stuff I used to record these songs. I hope you like them. And that is no lie.

I still enjoy these, but I missed your version of "The First Noël," which I always liked. Besides, it's got an umlaut, which has to totally fuckin' rock. I guess everyone has their favorites.
I'll have to say, Chris, I'm very fond of the new song. This is some of your best stuff yet. Love the vocals (Not to take away from the old stuff, even though I've always razzed you about that). I really like the concept and flow in the lyrics. All in all really great song!! Cheers
