I have been pondering a "bio" now for months, and really just cant come up with one that either came out totally long winded or didn't cover all the bases. So here it is in a nutshell.....
I have been playng music since the age of 9 when i got my hands on our first piano. Its all down hill from there. I have my degree in 'Sound Synthesis and Recording' from the Univeristy of Colorado at Denver. My main instrument is now bass / extended range bass, and I am fluent on Piano, Violin, Guitar, and Drums. I own a recording studio in Colorado called Area Five Point One (www.areafivepointone.net). I have worked with some of the best musicians over the years, and have spent a great deal of time exploring new musical avenues. I currently am playing a Bee basses worker bee 9 string, and a 7 string Thunder Bee in progress. I am also working with Jerzy Drozd on a 9 string MIDI bass. I used to be a big Modulus fan, but outgrew the tone many years ago, and have recently sold all 7 of my modulus basses., except my 10 string which has recently been returned to me from the repair shop!
I am also working on a trio project "Cardone, Cole, & Ferguson"
and we will be releasing our debut CD in the spring of 2007. If youre going
to NAMM show this year, stop by the Westone Audio booth and check out our show
and pick up a 4 song sampler CD!
Hello back from Florida. I'd like to thank you for looking and listening! And if this seems interesting to you - have a look – there's a great CD review at www.metalmonthly.com/5StarVio7.html and 5 live Audio Interviews about everything Metal and ... Violins... and bow ... and NO GUITARS on stage! On the main MySpace page under 'Blogs' and the beginning or our rock journal at www.metalmonthly.com/RockJournal.html ;). If your friends tell you - “nooooo waaaay - I hear lots of heavy rock guitars with distortion” - have them look on YouTube - search 'Vio7' and see it for themselves how it works live! And yes, our music is downloadable on iTunes and www.amazon.com \,,/- Armand
C, odds of seeing me in Anaheim were very very good till 2 days ago: I gave my passes away - so how about the next one? January is just a bit too busy to run around the country under the 'gear lust' flag :) - Armand
