Christopher Jordan -- Lead Vox, acoustic guitar, programming, electric guitars, piano, bass, mandolin, and other random things
People that occasionally play with me live and/or record on some songs: Zack Darce, Kyle Meiser, Jason Cipri, Colleen Doyle, and Andres Torres (there should be an accent on the e in Andres, but I sadly am not that computer savvy).

Sounds Like
That's for you to decide. To satisfy marketing people though, my music sounds like David Crowder Band, Shawn McDonald, Shaun Groves, Lifehouse, and Goo Goo Dolls. More appropriately however my music is the voice, breath, and heartbeat of broken worshippers before their God. It is honesty and love, depravity and grace, and it sounds a lot like messy people.
Christopher Jordan started writing a "new brand" of worship music in late 2003 to help give voice to the congregation he was leading at that point in time. Christopher Jordan put these early songs together with the help of friend Tim Jordan (no relation) and thus released "Living Sacrifice" in April of 2004. Christopher Jordan was then told that writing in the 3rd person like this helps to "sell" a band.
Well, I'm done with 3rd person. I want to get involved, plain and simple. And really, that's a large part of why I do music. The songs you find on this page, on my albums, and will hear at concerts all serve a two-fold purpose. On the one hand, all of this music is my humble attempt to give back to the One who has given me these gifts and this life. On the other hand, I pray that these songs move you. Whether they move you to prayer, worship, love, or social justice is up to you.
Back to the history lesson, after the release of "Living Sacrifice", several songs caught some minor local popularity for corporate worship and the result was "More of You" (March 2005). Zack Darce, Kyle Meiser, and Roy Meininger had since joined me, and we toured extensively throughout 2005. In late 2005, Zack had to leave the band for personal reasons, and John Thompson III stepped in behind the drums. After opening for Pillar (October 2005) it was again time to hit the studio. "Finding Beautiful" is what came out of it and was released in May of 2006. Several of the songs found radio success both locally and on Indie Heaven's radio chart. A handful of minor tours followed until the fall when things yet again changed. I went back to being "solo" in December 2006, and am continuing to support "Finding Beautiful" while I work on a handful of new albums. Even though I am back to "solo" status, fear not...we will still make a LOUD noise. While some shows are now primarily acoustic, there are still many full band shows. In addition, all studio work is still full band.
There are many exciting things on the horizon. Keep your eyes (and ears I suppose) open as new music is on the way, and I continue to hit the road to bring you this message: Jesus is never gonna quit on you, His love and grace run too deep for that.
