Josie’s got a brother!Red Feather Winery, Livermore, CA 11-15-09Amy and Harmoney picked a nearby award winning vineyard, the Red Feather Winery, for the site to celebrate the coming birth of their new son. Amy and I had spoken about music, and she had told me she was a fan of the Blues.
I had selected some pieces that were upbeat, some Clapton, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ray Charles, and others to entertain their friends and family with.
There was a giant blue and gold Macaw that kept the kids entertained, and provided a steady flow of greetings to all that walked by. At one point in the day, there was a total blackout, and my electric set became acoustic. I easily adjusted, taking my old Gibson archtop outside, to serenade the crowd during sundown.http://christopherkilday.com/blog/?p=483

  • Saltillo Guitar Festival

    Current mood:awake

    Ok,

It's my first blog here, on my musician's page. I will have to transfer all the old blogs to this page..
i want to have only a musician's space on Myspace. What a big pain in the arse it has been to transfer my friends and redo my page. Well, you myspace cadets know what that is all about.

So it's Thursday night, I got over a nice case of self inflicted food poisoning last night. Today I am feeling a bit wheezy, but better than yesterday. Of course yesterday, was the Brasil vs Mexico football match. My roommate, that never has people over, had to have 8 guests, smoking and drinking all night, while I was down with the stomach funk. Well, I survived, only by drastic measures; closing the door, refusing all microwaved eggrolls, and self inducing my stomach pump.

Ok, so yesterday was a bad day. But today is better. My teacher invited me to rendezvous in Saltillo, MX, where there is an international guitar festival happening. It should be fun. Stay tuned for photos, and sounds of the festival.
