Sounds Like
a voice reminiscent of Rod Stewart’s rasp, Jeff Buckley’s soaring falsetto, and Sting’s quirkiness. Music with such classic influences as the Beatles and Pink Floyd and modern influences like U2, Radiohead and Supergrass.
Listening to Christopher Maloney’s music is a truly unique experience. Consider the influences: a voice reminiscent of Rod Stewart’s rasp, Jeff Buckley’s soaring falsetto, and Sting’s quirkiness. Music with such classic influences as the Beatles and Pink Floyd and modern influences like U2, Radiohead and Supergrass. Melodies so catchy you find yourself not only singing along, but singing long after you’ve turned off the CD player. Lyrics so deeply personal that you find yourself hanging on every word, seeing how the story relates to your own life. Christopher’s music is full of dualities: songs of love, anguish, salvation, rage, redemption, passion. Songs that hold your hand and songs that smack you across the face. Songs that breathe fire and songs that soothe the beast within. The music is real, it’s raw, and it’s honest. Strangely enough, it’s also quite fun in a voyeuristic kind of way. Most of all, it’s interesting…a very interesting and captivating musical experience.
Christopher Maloney has two CDs out on the Sunset Records label, Control and The Terrors Of Intimacy. He is also a member of the progressive instrumental band COSMOSQUAD. As a touring musician, Christopher has worked in North, Central and South America, Europe, Japan and the Caribbean, and he maintains a regular schedule of sessions and club dates in Los Angeles. His recording projects include work with Dweezil Zappa, Lisa Loeb, Hardline, Lao Tizer, Gilli Moon and members of Savage Garden, Journey, Earth, Wind and Fire and INXS. Christopher is also a three-time ASCAP award winner for songwriting, and his compositions have been featured on television programs throughout the United States and Europe. He also has numerous musical endorsement deals, including Fender basses, SWR amps, Carvin Instruments and D'Addario strings.

Frankie Banali Presents L.A. Guns and the Bulletboys along with a special performance by Frankie Banali & Friends - The Led Zet Set paying tribute to legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham at the Canyon Club on September 25th, 2009!
I am happy to be able to present L.A. Guns and Bulletboys for a night of "old school" rock and roll at the Canyon Club. I've been friends with Steve Riley and Phil Lewis of L.A. Guns and Marq Torien of Bulletboys for more years than I can remember.
I am particularly excited about performing a set of Led Zeppelin music with a group of musicians that know how to deliver this music. Joining me for the set will be Chas West (The Jason Bonham Band) on vocals, Mitch Perry (Edgar Winter Group) on guitar, Sean McNabb (Great White) on bass and Edward Harris Roth (Glenn Hughes) on keyboards.
September 25, 2009 will be the 29th Anniversary of the passing of Led Zeppelin's mighty John Henry Bonham (31 May 1948 – 25 September 1980) and the Led Zep Set will be performed in his memory and dedicated in his honor.
Please come by and enjoy a great evening of music with L.A. Guns, the Bulletboys and Frankie Banali & Friends!

It's been a while since I had the opportunity to say hello to my MySpace friends (not the ones that I am really close but also the ones I haven't had the chance to know better yet) so today I decided to randomly go through my list, pick some interesting people and drop a short note to say HI!
So what have you been up to? Any good news to share from your side of the globe? Anything exciting?
Drop a note if you have some time. I would love to know what's happening. After all, MySpace is about making new friends, right?
