You know what they say about assumtions right? j/k I know I'll be the crazy cat lady, although I am equal opportunity on all animals so who knows, maybe I'll just be the animal sanctuary. Except for spiders - those were NOT meant to be kept as pets and they were def. NOT meant to be kept around me! haha
I know what you mean - that is a really tough field to be in. Granted I have never worked in a position like that, but I'm not sure I could handle the stress. No, I take that back, I could, I just don't think I'd like who I'd become. It's a job that gets very little respect when things go right and all the shit in the world when things go wrong. I'm also too much of a bleeding heart and some kids really need tough love - not so good in that department. Thankfully Chelsea is not one of them.
Hope you had a good easter too and you get to enjoy some r & r - sounds like you need it...

That clip is hilarious!!!! If Chelsea ever gets like that I'm having her committed. lol
Poor Murphy!! That is kinda funny after the fact though. You've got one hell of an arm - hehe. Yeah, I am the crazy cat lady in training...and oddly enough, I do have a thing for black cats - how did you know?? Nothing better to keep those pesky trick or treaters from eating all my candy...haha. We've got 4 now - we had 5 but sadly one died last week. She was declawed and missing one of her canine teeth but she was the best mouser. We think she ate a bad mouse and had a stroke - our vet wasn't sure (and I didn't have a couple thousand to sink into an MRI) but unfortunately she did not make it. We also have two dogs - an Austrailan Shephard/Old English Sheepdog mix named Max who is almost bigger than me and an Austrailian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (like the one on Mad Max) named Paco who thinks he's king of the mountain. Tell me about eating stuff - the carpet, the linoleum in the kitchen, the drywall in one of the bedrooms, the window sills, and a special taste for flip flops... They are lucky we love them....
Those kind of schedules are tough but it is nice to have 4 days off. I used to work in emergency mngt. before we moved here and we had a few events where I worked 24 hrs. had 12 hrs. off and then worked another 24 and that was tough.

HA - That was a good intro. Now, I just need to know where I can get me one of those evening wears - lol... Yeah - United States of Tara is good but Dexter truly rocks!!!
No prob - I usually only get check during the day becasue try fighting a 16 year old for computer time...It's like trying to pull the plug on somone on life support...unless it's on the weekend and then my insomnia kicks in and I've got all night.
Now to completely switch - tell me about your dog. He does look like a character...

Yeah - I'm def. more of an instant gratification kind of gal. I know that it will take several visits to complete but I want it all right now!! haha Actually, I more afraid that I'd get the outline done and then never get the rest of it done. I was also thinking of getting some of the branches scripted in Ogham but I'm not sure what I'd say yet. Names are out with the exception of Chelsea. The tree is awesome - it really does seem to reveal something else everytime you look at it. It's the growth, development, and revelation of knowledge and how one thing leads or blends into another that really grabs me.

One of my favorite RCs is when the tooth fairy goes to see the little boy and his parents get into a huge fight and there are three alternate endings. The snuggle bear one is pretty funny too - kind of like the one with the Mr. Mom and the mexican Mr. Clean (sort of) guy - hehe. The Trojan Man at the dinner parrty is pretty funny too. I don't do any sitcoms except for Psych because they are all pretty lame. Psych is hilarious though - great random references to the 80s and early 90s... Movies are more my thing, though I haven't had much luck there lately either....

I know I like a little pain but that may be just too much on the neck. I was thinking of completing it as a whole back piece, incorporating the woman at the top and the dolphins at the base? The wrist and chest are out - too small an area.
Maybe I'm just jealous of all the fun you Irishmen have? Or maybe I just really like Irishmen? lol I am French but I've got a little Scott too. I know they are very different cultures but there is some connection in the past and I just really like the celtic culture. That would be a dream trip - Ireland and Scottland...
Your idea sounds very interesting....I'd like to see pics of that...
Robot Chicken is one of the best shows!!! They are so twisted - it's awesome. Who knew your childhood toys could do such things - hehe! That's why I like Psych to - the references are freakn' hilarious. What else do you watch?

My three so far: a small moon and star on my ankle, a celtic knot incorporating dolphins on my lower back and a celtic woman at the top of my back. My next one is going to be a tree of life but I just haven't figured out where...
He does a great skit on Robot Chicken of Skater McGee which just cracks me up!! I haven't see the The Legend of Billie Jean in a long time. I really need to get some quality movie time going...last one I saw was total crap.

That's sad about the house. Jen was working in a similar situation - adults, not kids, and I know she had some major issues. She's doing well by the way. Almost finished with school and is working at a shelter or halfway home for abused women I think. It's a new job so I'm not entirely sure.
There is nothing wrong with a bit of a man crush...he was hard to resist in those days, haha. Gleaming the Cube is still my favorite of his, however, True Romance is right up there too.
Yeah, I think you did just get it. Actually, didn't you have a rather beaten up jeep at one point...
I like your ink - how many? I've got three so far...

Yeah - 16 and getting her permit. My gray hairs have already stated, gasp!!! I wish we had the bonus of free tuition but...not quite. They do have a good program with the local community college, which is basically free and then an almost guaranteed transfer so... I work in AP monitoring travel for two of our campuses, inventory control, and the University credit card. Not super exciting but I like it and OSU is a very good place to work.
Pump Up the Volume, huh? That movie still rocks!! Those were good times...
