THE PASSION OF CHRIST
This is over a ten minute video showing portions of the movie 'The Passion of Christ' by Mel Gibson. The scenes contained in this movie are extremely graphic. This movie shows what Jesus Christ went through because of our sin and the blessings of His Resurrection and our salvation through HIS Grace. It is because of our sin that He died upon Calvary. Jesus said that 'no man can come to the Father but by Me'. Romans 10:9 tells us that if we confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in our hearts that God had raised Him from the dead, then we shall be saved. It is my hope and my prayer that as you watch this movie and if you do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, that you would see how the sin that encompasses your life is the reason He died for you and me. Your eternal life depends upon your acceptance of Jesus as Lord of your life. I encourage you to take some time to receive Jesus as Lord of your life. If you feel compelled to receive Jesus as Lord in your life right now, then please say this following Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that You are the Son of God and that You came to earth to die for my sins. I know that I am a sinner and that I am condemned to death unless I accept You as my personal Savior. Lord, I believe that You rose from the grave three days later after Your death and that through the Blood You shed on Calvary, I will live eternally in Heaven for claiming the victory over death through You. Lord, please forgive me for my sins and I devote my life to doing Your Will. Thank You Lord for giving me life eternally and thank You for loving me enough to die for me. AMEN.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
1. There is one God,(1) who is infinitely perfect,(2) existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.(3) ([1] Deuteronomy 6:4, [2] Matthew 5:48, [3] Matthew 28:19)
2. Jesus Christ is the true God and the true man.(4) He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.(5) He died upon the cross, the Just for the unjust,(6) as a substitutionary sacrifice,(7) and all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.(8) He arose from the dead according to the Scriptures.(9) He is now at the right hand of Majesty on high as our great High Priest.(10) He will come again to establish His kingdom, righteousness and peace.(11) ([4] Philippians 2:611, [5] Luke 1:34-38, [6] I Peter 3:18, [7] Hebrews 2:9, [8] Romans 5:9, [9] Acts 2:23-24, [10] Hebrews 8:1, [11] Matthew 26:64)
3. The Holy Spirit is a divine person,(12) sent to dwell, guide, teach, empower the believer,(13) and convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.(14) ([12] John 14:15-18, [13] John 16:13, Acts 1:8, [14] John 16:7-11)
4. The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice.(15) ([15] 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:15-16)
5. Man was originally created in the image and likeness of God:(16) he fell through disobedience, incurring thereby both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature,(17) are separated from the life of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ.(18) The portion of the unrepentant and unbelieving is existence forever in conscious torment;(19) and that of the believer, in everlasting joy and bliss.(20) ([16] Genesis 1:27, [17] Romans 3:23, [18] 1 Corinthians15:20-23, [19] Revelation 21:8, [20] Revelation 21:1-4)
6. Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men; and those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God.(21) ([21] Titus 3:4-7)
7. It is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly,(22) being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service.(23) This is both a crisis and a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion.24 ([22] 1 Thessalonians 5:23, [23] Acts 1:8, [24] Romans 6:1-14)
8. Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the mortal body.(25) Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures and are privileges for the Church in this present age.(26) ([25] Matthew 8:16-17, [26] James 5:13-16)
9. The Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, (27) which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all nations.(28) The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.(29) ([27] Ephesians 1:22-23, [28] Matthew 28:19-20, [29] Acts 2:41-47)
10. There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; for the former, a resurrection unto life;(30) for the latter, a resurrection unto judgment.(31) ([30] 1 Corinthians 15:20-23, [31] John 5:28-29)
11. The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent(32) and will be personal, visible, (33) and premillennial. This is the believer's blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service.(34) ([32] Hebrews 10:37, [33] Luke 21:27, [34] Titus 2:11-14)

Love what you have - someday you may not
One day a woman's husband died, and on that clear, cold morning, in the warmth of their bedroom, the wife was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't anymore.
No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat, no more "just one minute."
Sometimes, what we care about the most gets all used up and goes away, never to return before we can say good-bye, say "I love you."
So while we have it, it's best we love it, care for it, fix it when it's broken and heal it when it's sick. This is true for marriage ... and old cars .. and children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips, and aging parents and grandparents.
We keep them because they are worth it, because we are worth it. Some things we keep -- like a best friend who moved away or a classmate we grew up with. There are just some things that make us happy, no matter what.
Life is important, like people we know who are special, and so, We keep them close!
I received this from someone who thought I was a 'keeper'! Then I sent it to the people I think of in the same way.
Suppose one morning you never wake up, do all your friends know you love them?
I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling, or three words needing to be said.
Let every one of your friends know you love them. Even if you think they don't love you back, you would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile can do.
And just in case GOD calls me home ...

I repented of the sin of homosexuality five years ago this past November. Some will say, "Once gay always gay!" The only way I know to answer that is to say that we all have a sin nature. Without the saving Grace of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit working in my life, I would run back to what once seemed normal, and natural to me. I believe sin is what the Bible says it is. I must lay that sin at the foot of the cross, and walk away from it. I have not overcome every temptation, or desire yet, but the Lord changes all of His children little by little, from Glory to Glory. This journey I'm on, as with any Christian, will be a life long one. I Just turn it over to Jesus, and believe that He will work it all together for my good. At times we feel like giving up and saying, "what’s the use?" We feel we’ve disappointed God, at least that’s our excuse. God’s love for us will never change, for the bible tells us so. Rather than saying "I give up," it’s to God that we should go.
We need to humbly kneel to God, and pour out all our sorrow. Tell Him of our aching heart, and ask His help to face tomorrow. Tell Him our feelings of loneliness, and the failures we have seen. Tell Him of our struggles and fears, and confess we feel unclean.
We, as Christians, are not exempt from the sins of daily living. So we need to talk with God in prayer, for He always is forgiving. He knows each sin that we commit, but He’ll never hide His face. He loves us and He’ll welcome us back to His throne of grace.
If from our heart, we truly repent, God will instantly forgive. He knows that in this sinful world, a godly life is hard to live. By nature we are sinful people, and daily battles we’ll always face. That’s why God in His infinite mercy sent His Son to take our place.
Jesus suffered and died on Calvary's cross, to give the gift of grace. He paid the ultimate price ~ He bore the sins of the human race. With God's mercy and love, Christians can face what comes each day. Sins committed have been "paid," for those who have chosen His way.
