About me:
I am a passionate, dedicated Catholic Christian interested in what it means to live out Christ's call of evangelization and service in (and for) "the world." For the past 18 years, I have labored as a youth minister, Confirmation coordinator, and retreat director. For 6 of those years, I have helped form catechists and adult ministers of youth by providing scriptural and catechetical study, opportunities for prayer and reflection, and workshops that offer practical ministry skills. For the past two years, I have been teaching and evangelizing Catholics about their role as lay apostles in Christ's mission to the world.
I used to work as the Chief Operating Officer of Paizo Publishing, LLC--a publisher of specialty magazines and products for fans of science fiction, fantasy, and gaming--in Seattle, Washington. Before that, I worked as the Vice President of the Pokemon Product Group at Wizards of the Coast and was the Brand Manager and Director of RPGs and Miniatures at WOTC.
In my spare time, I am a professional writer of fiction with two novels and five short stories currently in publication. I currently reside in Chicago, Ilinois.
