Christy was raised in rural central Illinois in a family of musicians. Her acute observations of the human condition are conveyed in the vivd imagery of her songwriting. She has been heavily influenced by the blues, old country and texas singer/songwriters. She has been writing and playing the acoustic guitar since the age of 14 and her travels about the world have only aided in her ability to move people though her music. She has just relocated to Austin, TX via Nashville, TN and what a warm welcome it has been. After touring with Dominic Fisher for a couple months of the summer it's a relief to settle back in for the moment. Watch for her on the local Austin scene, we're gettin' the band back together boys!
