I'm a huge Twins fan, I got to a lot of concerts, participate in a lot of running events, and I'm also a fan of wrestling.

To show my diverse taste in music, here are some music acts I have seen live in concert: Mandy Moore, Joss Stone, Poison, Jewel, Guns N' Roses, Edwin McCain, Alanis Morissette, Switchfoot, Nickelback, Alicia Keys, Aersosmith, Warrant, Beyonce, Garbage, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Dashboard Confessional, No Doubt, Godsmack, Bowling for Soup, Liz Phair, Paula Cole, Sheryl Crow, Lisa Loeb, Dixie Chicks, Blue October, Counting Crows, the Fray, Semisonic, Wallflowers, Evanescence, Five for Fighting, Goo Goo Dolls, Train, Fleetwood Mac, Rob Thomas/matchbox 20, SR-71, Hoobastank, Saliva, Jason Mraz, Alter Bridge, Creed, 30 Seconds to Mars, INXS, Avril Lavigne, Def Leppard, Adema, Anna Nalick, James Blunt, the Corrs, Barenaked Ladies, LIVE, Sebastian Bach, Cinderella, Rocco DeLuca, The Last Goodnight, Gin Blossoms, Keane, OneRepublic, Augustana, Jordin Sparks, Anberlin, All-American Rejects, Katy Perry, Airborne Toxic Event, Skillet, Decypher Down, Missy Higgins, Joshua Radin, Howie Day.
Movies
Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind, Lars and the Real Girl, Capote, Match Point, Shakespeare in Love, Simpsons, Love Actually, X-Men 1 & 2, Spiderman 1 & 2, Pan's Labyrinth, Saved. Naturally, I like baseball movies, particularly: For Love of the Game, The Rookie, Bull Durham, Major League, Field of Dreams. I really liked "The Departed." Yes, I see all movies featuring Mandy Moore, and I even went and saw "Because I said so."
Television
Lots of wrestling of course. Plus: Lost, 24, Smallville, Simpsons, Heroes. I'm addicted to Survivor, too! I now own the entire Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, and it's not just sitting on a shelf -- I'm definitely watching it. I miss the Gilmore Girls! On cable, I really enjoy Weeds and True Blood.
Books
I read lots of comic books. I read New Avengers, Fantastic Four, all the X-Men titles, Daredevil, Thunderbolts, and Amazing Spiderman. The "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" comic has been good, too.
Heroes
Always Kirby Puckett.

About me: I am a big fan of the Minnesota Twins and pro wrestling. I attended 31 Twins games in 2008, and I'll top 20 again this year. (My interest in the Timberwolves has deeply faded, especially since they traded Kevin Garnett. I also wanted the Wolves to keep OJ Mayo.) I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in journalism in 1997, and I've been writing for the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram since April 2001. I used to write a column about pro wrestling, but I have lost a lot of interest in indy wrestling in the past year. Instead, I've devoted a lot of time to running! I completed 20 races in 2008, and will hit that again this year.
Who I'd like to meet: Keira Knightly, Mandy Moore, Emmy Rossum, Scarlett Johansson, Jewel, Chris Jericho, Matthew LeCroy and Kevin Garnett. I LOVED seeing Mandy Moore in concert!!!!
