DID YOU KNOW....The Chris Ward Band has had the honor of opening for several major country acts, including Billy Ray Cyrus, Dwight Yokum, Tracey Lawrence,
Mindy McCready, Kentucky Head Hunters, Joe Nichols, Pam Tillis, Mickey Gilley,
Barbara Mandrell, and Joe Diffie!!!
CHRIS: Our lead singer, the reason we exist as a band. This guy has all the talent and stage presence that you’d ever see at any pro concert - and there’s good reasons for it. He’s rubbed shoulders with the best - spent several years in Nashville recording and performing - Giant/Warner Bros released his "One Step Beyond" album, which showcases his 2 top 20 hits "Fall Reaching" and "Get To Be You" produced by Dann Huff (FAith Hill, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts etc.) If you’ve never seen him perform, GETCHER BUNS out to see the best country show the northwest has to offer. Be sure to meet him after the show - Chris has a reputation for being a great person and all around super nice guy.
ROSS: Musical Director Extraordinaire. Electric guitar wizard, this guy swears he doesn’t sing...but why can’t we get him off the microphone?? Ross is the brains behind the operation, issuing our ADD meds as needed, reminding us all to stay focused - without him Chris might break into a Gloria Gaynor I WILL SURVIVE solo at any minute - Ross is well known in the pro circles and is often called on to record. His devotion to his family is endearing - Ross is a hugger so make sure to show your appreciation next time you hear his OUTSTANDING axework.
CRAIG: Da Playa. If he wasn’t so grumpy, he’d be a blast - if you know him, you know I joke! Craig’s KILLS on the bass, and sometimes, when you close your eyes and listen to him sing falsetto, you think you’re in Mariah Carey’s living room - he nails it! Craig knows his stuff - and it shows. Is this guy ever NOT playing? Last time I checked he had a gig at 9 am, 12 noon and 8pm - If you want to get in touch, have your secretary call his. He’s a busy man.
AMY: Anal. What else can we say? Fiddle, vocals - Hey, let’s see if she can play a harpsichord. Chicks - sheesh. Wait just a minute, I thought you said she was an Angelina Jolie lookalike...?! I want my money back.
KENNY: You know the rule for staring at the sun. Same goes for his eyes. Look long enough and you’ve got serious problems, my friend. So close your eyes, and tap your feet to the rhythm he’s delivering. Did I mention he sings? Holy moly, the pipes on this one. From R&B to Country, he’s got it covered.
DOUG: I hear this guy is pretty swell on the drums - so far he refuses to come to rehearsals. Only one diva per band allowed please! You’ll have to arm wrestle Amy for that spot. Seriously, this guy is GOOOD.
EUGENE: -or shall we say, "You-Genius" - he can play his stuff in his sleep and backwards like we used to do our Led Zeppelin LPs - he’s busy with his twelve kids whom he buses around town in his mini van, but that doesn’t keep him from hitting the keys with CWB when we’re so lucky. Eugene, put DOWN the Oil of Olay and just play some more of that wicked keyboard!!!

Wow, isn't it crazy how quickly they all grew up?! My Son is also in the service. He joined the Marines and is in the Persian Gulf area, my daughter is a Junior in highschool and a Freshman in college. How much longer does your daughter have over there? She'll be in my prayers. Life is good, how about you? Are you still with the PD?
How's Chris? How are the kids? So good to see you on here, it's been forever! Miss your awesome voice and those karaoke days with two stepping and good times!
