My influences vary from Bach/Beethoven to DJ Shadow/Led Zeppelin. I am currently doing scoring for films and commercials. If you are interested in this, email cy4n1d3@hotmail.com or call (208)305-4532. I have always been against releasing CD's, but I might do one this year.
"He's a composer. His songs are works of art. His goal is to sound unlike anyone else but still be appealing. Sometimes he crosses that line into form for form's sake and the song loses something, but it gains twice as much. He loves new things, and is constantly changing his style, it's chaos. He can't stand listening to something or playing something more than a few times, so he's written hundreds of songs. It's a catalogue really, in his head and on cd's.
These songs he's uploaded here are only a few he's picked out here and there, but to fully appreciate them you have to listen to them in their context of the catalogue. He considers a song to be only a few lines in a movement in a symphony, not a whole symphony unto itself."
Concerto is pretty intense. Lots of building. I like the building. :) That opening string figure is pretty sweet.
I have the hardest time with Garritan, it seems like I can never get the volume load enough. I know it's tied to my mod wheel, but it always keep resetting itself.
egmont is awesome. Very interesting chords in there. I like it's sonic depth.
TO really appreciate this one I'd have to hear it in .wav or on cd I'm sure.
It's dark and inviting. The same way a depressing foriegn b/w noir film can be.
Nice work,
Jesse
whoa I just realized I'm listening to it in 1/3 speed because I forgot to turn off the outboard gears sound drivers.... Weird... It's still cool as hell. :)
I wish you could hear what I'm hearing. It reminds me of a radiohead song circa kid A in slow motion.
