Our mission is to serve as the medium for musicians who wish to hear an exact replica of their ideas emerge through a set of loudspeakers. All while keeping our prices reasonable and affordable in order to promote a healthy, relaxed creative environment to focus on what’s most important to us, the music.
Chromaphonic Recordings started in the summer of 2005. We have the equipment and facility to produce high quality recordings. Our Live room is 9'3" by 13'3" ft. Control room is 9'3" by 11'11" ft. We have 2 smaller Iso rooms for guitar amps, or Bass amps. We can stream up to 16 channels audio in 24 bit into Steinberg's Nuendo 4.3, not Pro Tools.
The owner Fernando Flores, is a Producer/Engineer who is a graduate of Globe Institute of Recording in San Francisco, where he received a Audio Producer Associate Degree and certificates in Protools operations, synthesizers, music theory, and digital composition.
He was also a student of California Recording Institute in 2002.
He has studied under:
David Gibson for 3 years. David Gibson has engineered sessions for James Brown's band, Hank Williams Jr.'s band, Herbie Hancock's band, to name a few. Maestro Curtis, MALS. Maestro Curtis has produced several artists and has also produced his own band Xpression, on the Kalimba Records Label with Executive Producer Maurice White of Earth, Wind And Fire. Maestro Curtis has performed with such artists as Peabo Bryson, The O'jays, George Benson, and Lenny Williams, and has played with the Count Bassie Orchestra. He has co-written the book, The Art Of Producing.
Don "The Enhancer" Marsh who is best known in the San Francisco Bay Area Rap Scene for engineering and producing releases by RBL Posse, Rappin'4-Tay, San Quinn, JT The Bigga Figga, Cellski, and many more.
