To clear up any misconceptions, this is not an internal database, this is a site where Chron.com users can browse through hundreds of Houston bands, download some music, perhaps read an article, and get to know Houston's music scene.

In addition to the site, we have a weekly feature in the Preview section, which comes out Thursdays in the Houston Chronicle.
