Chronomicon aka Hazey J was born on June 17th 1986 and spent the first 5 years of his life growing up in Coquitlam a suburb of Vancouver in BC, Canada. At 5 years old Chron's family moved over to Vancouver Island and settled in Nanaimo. From a young age Chron grew up in a mid size town occupied with not a lot else but suburbs, malls, strip malls, bars, ghettos and more suburbs.
Since a young age J displayed a creative mind and a passion and talent for music. Inspired and driven by the early encouragement he received J would continue developing his skills in both poetry and music as he advanced into his teen years.
At the age of 13 Chronomicon discovered the world of hiphop music and culture. His earliest rap idols where Eminem and Dr. Dre but over the years his tastes would widen to include many varied artists, everything with skill sparked his interest from Necro to Cassidy. Chron displayed his passion for hiphop through a constant and fiendish desire to freestyle and write rhymes. Not having much of a local hiphop scene in his town Chron was always spitting his flow for friends at house parties and the like.
Over the following years Chron would expand his hand in the music game. Doing everything from producing beats, to playing guitar and doing vocals for local heavy metal acts. But his passion for rhyming about the things he knows from nerd life to street life remained.
