Bio
In 1999, Andreas and Björn started working together as guitarists and songwriters in Conspiracy. It was more like simple thrashmetal back then and 4 demos was recorded. Oppressed for years(2001), Conspiracy(2002), Concert in sickness(2003) and All you ever feared(2006). Andreas was earlier a member of Suicidal Winds and Björn with Necrology, Inominatus and Mourning Eyes. Somewhere in 2003 or 2004, all members of Conspiracy decided to leave the band for different reasons. Andreas and Björn decided to continue playing together and did the last Conspiracy demo in 2006.
In spring 2007 Conspiracy switched name to Chtonium. The name changed because too many other bands had the same name, causing confusion among fans, and with diffrent members, the name change was natural. The same year was the demo In Sour Ground released with Linn(vocals) and Niklas(Bass). Unfortunately, they left the band in 2007-2008 for different personnel matters. Andreas and Björn has decided not to seek for other members at the moment, instead they will hire folks for live performance and recordings.
From 2008 and further it has been focus on new songs, the work is still going on. New refreshments like logo and myspace layout has also been done. Chtonium are doing all musicrecordings, mixing and mastering by them self.
