THE HISTORY OF THE BABCOCKS: During the late 50's and early 60's Chuck and Ginger Babcock's names were on everyone's lips. The vivacious couple entertained their way into America's hearts and abroad becoming the toast of the town. Regularly appearing on stage with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr, Chuck and Ginger became the most beloved act of their time. Their special engagements at such famed venues as the Tropicana in Vegas, the Copacabana in New York and The Riviera in Havana were the most sought after tickets in the entertainment business.
In 1962, Chuck and Ginger Babcock heroically volunteered to be a part of the Lucky Stiff Cigarette Time Capsule project. They bravely donated their physically fit bodies to be cryogenically frozen in the name of science. Although out of the public eye for some time, Chuck and Ginger Babcock continued to live in the hearts of us all. By a great twist of fate the Lucky Stiff Cigarettes Time Capsule project was aborted in 2008 and The Babcocks have returned!!
This year the beloved Babcocks make history with their triumphant return to the stage in their brand new show "Thawed for Your Pleasure." Chuck and Ginger have teamed up with Leedy Productions to create a spectacular event. Along with their creative team, Director Michael Davis, Music Director Aya Kato and Writers Melissa Cruz and Michael Leedy, they have assembled an evening of top drawer entertainment! "Thawed for Your Pleasure" includes some classic Chuck and Ginger tunes plus some brand new surprises!
The Babcocks performance at The Sage Theater in April was a smashing success! Old and new fans alike packed the house to see the return of the beloved Chuck and Ginger. Sadly in September of 2008, their publicists approached them about their rampant substance abuse problem. At the insistence of their management Chuck and Ginger entered the Betty Ford Center. Chuck did splendidly and is currently living with several male friends on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Ginger, however, is still at Betty Ford. After trying to sneak in sleeping pills, getting into several fist fights with Lindsay Lohan and attacking a Mexican janitor she has not been approved for release. Fans eagerly await her return and the Babcocks triumphant return to the stage. In the meantime, the Babcocks can regularly be seen on their reality show "Babcocked in Brooklyn" right here on myspace or on their YOU TUBE PAGE Cheers!!

Chuck & Ginger, I know you've just been thawed, but I'm thinking you should delve into some of the music that has been around during your deep freeze. I for one would love to hear your interpretation of Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow/Allison Moorer's "Picture". Now that's a song that needs to be Babcocked!
