This is the only MySpace page officially affiliated with Chuck Palahniuk. This profile exists in relation with Chuck Palahniuk's official website at ChuckPalahniuk.net. Chuck does not administer this MySpace page nor the ChuckPalahniuk.net website. It was created and is webmastered, with Chuck's clearance and blessing, by myself, Dennis Widmyer. Furthermore, Chuck doesn't read any of the messages or comments on this page, so when you write to him, you're actually writing to me.

The Cult Writers Workshop is an unparalleled opportunity for all writers to improve upon their craft by submitting original work for peer review and critique. How it works is, you sign up for ..Premium Membership.. and then you read and review other stories in the Workshop, which earns you points. Once you have enough points, you submit your own work for peer feedback, as well as a chance to have it read and reviewed by Chuck Palahniuk himself!

At long last, 'Fight Club' Tshirts are here. In celebration of 10 years of the movie 'Fight Club', as well as ten years of ChuckPalahniuk.net, we pulled out all the tops with this shirt. We hired LA designer Kevin Tong to design them and they are truly the nicest shirts we've ever offered. A couple years back, we had a beloved section on the site called Palahniuk-esque Authors.  With the help of people like Will Tupper, this section became a mecca on The Cult, where fans of Chuck could explore authors that might fall into the same category of literature. Unfortunately, this section didn't quite survive Drupal.  But it has now returned, with a vengeance... and it's brought some old friends.

Palahiuk-esque has become Palahniukian Authors.  We also have a general Book Recommendations section that is broken down into the following sub-categories:

Chuck Approved: Books that Chuck Palahniuk personally recommends.
Staff Favorites: Books that we recommend.  (expect this to grow and become more personalized, with individual Staff Rec pages.
Member Favorites: As you can now comment on and review books in this section, we have a way to filter the top rated books. 
Book Club Selections: Our ever popular Book Club gets some love, as all the past monthly entries are featured here.

I'll also mention that, every item that is purchased within these pages, earns us a small commission from Amazon.com.  This may not sound that important, but we honestly don't make much income from this site.  So every little bit helps.  Even if you follow a link into Amazon directly through one of our pages and end up buying something unrelated, we still earn a commission.  So you're really helping us keep the site alive.

Postcards From The Future: The Chuck Palahniuk Documentary takes a look at author Chuck Palahniuk's landmark year of 2003. With back to back books and subsequent tours hitting the public, Chuck's year was filled with success, controversy, and even phenomena. But what many fans don't know is that this entire year kicked off with a mysterious conference held on his work in a small town in Pennsylvania.

We want to enlist you all as part of our Cult Army. What's the aim? PROMOTE CHUCK'S OFFICIAL WEBSITE!

With that in mind, we have a collection of banners you can download. Where permitted, post these banners on the net. Forums, blog comments, groups, social networking. There's a ton of places you can do some guerilla marketing. You can also find sites in our demographic and contact the Webmaster to have the banner 'officially' listed, with a link back to our site. And every bit counts.
