About me: I am a graphic designer by trade but my first love is music. I play guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, Chapman Stick, mandolin, charango, violin and lap steel guitar, all with wildly varying degrees of proficiency. I write and record my own songs at home - the ultimate self indulgence. You are listening to one of my songs right now and you can check out three more at my MySpace music page here.
I enjoy traveling and have visited four of the continents so far. (My background photo was taken on a trip to Namibia in 2002.) London and San Francisco are my favorite cities and Crater Lake in Oregon gets my vote for the most beautiful spot on the planet. I recently started working for US Airways, which has significantly improved my travel options. It's not unusual for me to hop a jet for Chicago, New York or San Francisco to catch a show by one of my favorite bands, which makes it easier to deal with living in a crappy music town.

Hey Chuck my friend, This day is such a special one It's Birthday time for you, I'd really like to celebrate this special day with you... So zippidy-aye and Hidey Ho There's something I can do - I'll sing a song that we all know "Happy Birthday to You!"
if you're in the area on friday, sept. 28th, and looking for something to do, come come help celebrate my 12th 21st birthday @ BAR (check them out on myspace here), 279 south river street, plains pa 18705.
there's no cover, and if you haven't been there yet, it will be worth the trip just to check the place out. live acoustic performances begin at 10pm, with terry childers (his myspace page is here) starting things off, and i'll be playing all the way up to last call.
check out the tracks on my page, and let me know what you think...
the place has great atmosphere, really nice staff, and, obviously, is a huge supporter of local, original music. there's never a cover, and they've always got great events going on.
and since no birthday is complete without presents, i'll have some free cds to give away.
hit me up if you need directions or more information, and hopefully i'll see you there.
Glad you made it home, albeit late (or early, Swedish time). But it was, as you said, hardly a disaster in the true sense of the word.
Re your stay: my pleasure, you were a great guest! Sorry I wasn't all well during the second part of the trip. But we managed to squeeze in a lot during the first three days didn't we? ;-)
Emma, the girl you sat next to outside the Debaser club last Friday night, was at Chad's wedding party last night and told me to say "hi". Chad said hi as well.
See you in the U.S. next spring (hopefully)!
All the best from your fellow "Camel humper" Anders
Awwww heck yeah Chuck. I so still have Little Chuck! I'll let you know when I pull him out of storage! I'm still not sure if I'm settling in NY or Cincinnati. Job in Cinci this month.. I'll hopefully figure it out more then. I'll keep you posted!!! Hug to the Padge!
