There are many elements at work in the guitar playing, original compositions, and arrangements of Austin recording and performance artist Chuck Pinnell. Classical and spanish guitar, as well as folk, country, and jazz provide a unique blend of traditions that inspire his theme based instrumental albums and performances.
Chuck Pinnell has composed the scores for six feature films, including Sundance winner "The Whole Shooting Match" and Berlin Film Festival winner, "The Last Nite at the Alamo".
In 2007 Chuck scored the much antcipated feature documentary, "The King of Texas". "The Whole Shootin' Match" and "The King of Texas" are now available in a handsomely designed dvd box set from Watchmaker Films.
He is also a former Kerrville New Folk Winner and veteran solo performer, sideman, producer and teacher.
