I dig movies. My father, who is retired, is a part-time projectionist for a big multiplex. I get to see movies for free. That is the coolest thing! My brother and I go to see movies quite often. I also have a huge DVD collection. I am a huge Woody Allen fan but I am also a huge fan of action adventure buff!
As far as comics go, I read a mess load each month. I always dig just about anythign put out by Top Shelf.

Music
When I was in my twenties, grunge was the thing. I was totally and completely in the grune scene. Ilived in Wicker Park in Chicago. It was cool because it was a time when you could see SMASHING PUMPKINS, KMFDM, MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT, LIZ PHAIR and a ton of other bands. It was pre-Double Door days. If you're from the area, the Double Door used to be a country western bar...believe it or not. Anyway, I really dug Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Screaming Trees, Candlebox, Alice in Chains and STP...and still due. I am also still a sucker for classic rock.
Movies
I love movies too much for a favorites list. So, I'll just list some movies I am pumped about seeing in the next year or so...
SOUTHLAND TALES
BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT
I'M NOT THERE
WALK HARD (looks funny)
NATIONAL TREASURE: BOOK OF SECRETS
I AM LEGEND
AMERICAN GANGSTER
Television
Hands down, Battlestar Gallactica is the best show on television in my opinion. My wife and I also watch LOST. We are getting into SMALLVILLE as well. HEROES is kicking some major but as well. I am liking where it is going.
Books
I have read some great books this year. I blew off some of the required reading in high school and so I am trying to ead some of those books along with everything else I have. MAXIMUM RIDE by James Patterson is next on my list. I am currently reading IN THE DARK by Simon Read. I read HERETIC by Joe Nassise (and I am adapting it for comics) as well as THE LEXIAN CHRONICLES by Harry Gallan (which I am also adapting for Markosia). I also read THE STRANGER by Albert Camus.

Blessed with smarts and power but burdened by vanity.
My name is Chuck Satterlee. I am a writer. I write comic books primarily. I have also written for the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Casino Review and a number of other publications. I have written four screenplays and even won a couple small screenplay contests. I have studied directing under famed directing coach, Jim Pasternak. My screenplays are titled:
THE DAY I TRIED TO LIVE
MOVING DAY
CO-DEPENDANCE CAN BE FUN
DIME BAGS & THE ELEMENTS OF STYLE
I love writing and am starting to get a bit more looks from the bigger companies. I am also writing professionaly for PLATINUM Studios. I've been married for 13 years. I have a 5 year old son named Luke. My current comic titles include HERETIC: THE TEMPLAR CHRONICLES, KONG: KING OF SKULL ISLAND and THIRTEEN STEPS, the last one of which where I write with Phil Hester. I have a slew of other projects on the way of which I am completely stoked.
I also have four trade paperbacks on sale right now. They are:
I wrote my own creator owned series, OF BITTER SOULS (drawn by Norm Breyfogle) and SMOKE & MIRROR (about to be relaunched with Harold Jennett handling art chores.) They received some great reviews. Smoke & Mirror will start up again in the Spring of 2008. OF BITTER SOULS has been optioned for television development by Kickstart Productions.
I also wrote THE LEXIAN CHRONICLES for Markosia as well as a six-issue mini-series for them called HERETIC, which is adapted from Joe Nassise's fantastic novel. Bruce Mckorkindale was the artist for the first three issues and Scott Larson is the artist for the last three issues.
THIRTEEN STEPS is my next series. I am co-writing with Phil Hester. Kevin Mellon is on art and Desperado is publishing. Issues one and two are on the racks in your favorite comic store now.
I am a member of SHOCKTRAUMA STUDIOS. We boast some pretty amazing members like Phil Hester and Ande Parks. You can check us out at www.shocktraumastudios.com.
I am also working with Sal Cipriano on two series. One is called THE UNCREDITED ADVENTURES OF FARAGUT AND FOSTER: ADVENTURERS FOR HIRE and the other is THE GRINDER. I am working with Brian Augustyn on a few projects called NO OTHER GODS, CLOUD NINE and THE MOMENT.
Also, my son who is five, did his first ever comic con sketch.
h, and I love hearing from bands who I will never be able to see because they are on the other side of the f'ing country. So please...friend me immediately if you are one of those bands!
And one more thing...if you offer cyber sex...don't forget to friend me because I am absolutely sure that you are the girl in the picture and I want to ruin my marriage over you...
Speaking of sex...
My wife and I have our "lists"...you know...those people you are allowed to sleep with in the event that you meet them with no arguement from the spouse. So, if the following women are visiting my site...and you like fat guys who write comics...and you like annonymous relations with strangers...and you like poor people, please message me so we can sleep together. :)
Helena Bonham Carter
Cate Blanchett
