This week "Elvis, The Man and His Music," a British quarterly magazine, printed their interview with me about Elvis and myself in Memphis and Hollywood. It may be seen here:
With my artwork it’s all about colors. I love color – lots of it!
And somewhere along the way I quit caring about whether my artwork accurately depicts a person or object, my purpose is to reach the
emotions of the viewer.
If you like my work and would like to stay informed, I would love to hear from you.
And thanks for dropping by…

was in a museum in Karlsruhe, Germany. During WWII the building was bombed, exposing the treasure.

Who I'd like to meet:
"French Shepherd" Mixed Media
When I was in the army, station at a small microwave station in rural France, I photographed this shepherd and his dog tending his flock of sheep.
A few days later a group of French farmers showed up at the front door with a request. When I finally figured out what they wanted, it was a copy of the picture I had taken. The poor shepherd had died and his widow wanted a photo to remember him by.
This art piece is based on that photograph.

The trick is to stay focused on what you want to happen and let go of what you do not... cuz if you keep seeing things as they are, convincing yourself that you "have to" because that's reality, then it will always be your reality. want to change? it's as simple as changing the who, what, how, why and when of what you look at and FOCUS on... DAILY :)
Tankism #25 Have a great week :) PS: see if you can "see" the picture below. It's pretty cool...
Failure is the best part of success. They are like yin and yang; you can’t have one without the other. So learn to celebrate your failures. Truly successful people even say they are successful because they have failed more than anyone they know. They keep trying and each time it doesn’t work, it’s just a learning experience. So, go out there, Fail, Learn, Succeed. Fail, Learn, Succeed. Say it with me now, Fail. Learn.. Succeed!!!
Put it this way, you CANNOT get hung up on when something doesn’t go your way. If you stay fixated on the failure, then you cut off the other two steps: Learn and Succeed. Fight the temptation to dwell on the failure with EVERYTHING you’ve got. Get excited about failing! Then Learn, Then Succeed!!!
People have been fascinated with rainbows. Their arched splashes of color have been the subject of songs and poems, stories and mythology. In the Bible, the rainbow is seen as a sign of God's promises, and most of us are familiar with the legend of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. What makes rainbows so mysterious is this simple but often puzzling fact: Rainbows are light. You can't touch them, can't reach around behind them. They exist only in the eyes and sometimes the photos of people who see them.
